The Armadillo

I was so bummed when I found out that I was going to miss out on NYC for my North America trip in May cause I so wanted to go for Alexander McQueen's Savage Beauty exhibition at MET plus I wanted to get those super mini Armadillos as well. Thank god my friend, Viona, was going to NYC and she went for the exhibition so she kindly agreed to get the Armadillos for me. But when I got back to SG, she messaged me saying that the Armadillos were out of stock and so I was heart broken (for awhile) before she very quickly replied me saying that she could order online (not heart broken anymore). Hur hur.

Balmain Resort 2012

Supplies! Sounds like surprise, no?

Okay side tracking. My first time featuring Balmain! I'm usually disinterested in their collections due to the over-hyping a few seasons back but I decided to take a peek at their Resort collection and I'm pleasantly surprised.

Yes the usual body cons, blazers, shoulder pads and hardwares are still there BUT the prints and patterns for this collection is just divine. I'm so in love.

Riccardo Tisci is my hero and this collection is absolutely beautiful but I'd love to see something new after 2 seasons of this. None the less my favourite is the Ombre Yellow gown worn by Daphne Groeneveld.
