Shoes Made In Heaven

Ever wonder what kind of shoes angels wear? Alexander McQueen's last collection has some where we mortals can own, well only some can own them while the rest of us can only ogle and dream about.

This is my favourite. I'd buy it and display it as an art piece in my room.

Lucyd Acyd

Tuesday, April 27, 2010

Lucyd Acyd's new collection includes more solid basic pieces this time round. There are toga tops and long sleeved blouses made of chiffon which are all so versatile cause you can wear them with pants/pencil skirts to work or change into a bandeau skirt and you're all set for a romantic dinner for two.

Here's a couple pieces that caught my eye.

Isn't this dress so damn nice?! The cape is definitely the extra oomph factor. Enigma Cape Dress, $46.80.

Dour Skirt, $36.80.

Back to Basics

Monday, April 26, 2010

I can't remember when was the last time I wore a basic tank top. It has been too long! I swear I won't neglect you ever again my dear basics rolled up in my closet! I've been overly obsessed with Maxis and Alexander Wang Tees lately. Not good. And I've been neglecting my F21 platforms as well! The very first pair of platforms that got me hooked to heels.

What I wore to town for an hour to get nail polish, some groceries, magazines and window shopping. Need to destress from all the studying! Exams be gone!

Tank, Topshop. Pants, Korea. Rings, Aldo & Korea. Watch, Invicta. Shoes, F21.

Sunday, April 25, 2010

The mix is boho inspired this time round. I went to check if the items are still available and most of them are sold out already. What the hell. I like the necklace! Argh.

Landscape

What I wore to celebrate a friend's birthday at a club. My guy friends told me that I dress very differently from the other girls at the club and that they wouldn't approach me to dance if we were strangers. Mission accomplished I guess, cause I don't like to dress typically like those clubber chicks and I'm not very good at rejecting people nicely. What I meant by typical? Tight mini dress or bandage skirts with a revealing top and strappy heels. That's what I observed (it's not hard to not notice) and I'm not saying that it's wrong, I just don't want to blend in. I remember I wore my super tattered jeans with tee to Zouk a couple of times.

This time round I wore a maxi dress and boots. I cut off the neckline and part of the sleeve cause it was too suffocating.

Fashion, Disney Style.

Friday, April 23, 2010

Ever wonder how the designers would look like if they were in the world of Disney?

Artist Ulrich Schröder is a freelancer for Disney since 1989 and he just did a fantastic fashion editorial for ELLE Spain.

Who else to start the spread? Of cause it's Karl Lagerfeld.

Dolce & Gabanna and Sonia Rykiel.

Marc Jacobs and Jean Paul Gaultier.

Donatella Versace and Alber Elbaz.

Last but not least, John Galliano.

Way too cute!

My favourites are Karl Lagerfeld and Alber Elbaz. Which one is your favourite?

Peekaboo Muse

Monday, April 19, 2010

Why am I always in a dilemma between 2 awesome stuff. This time round, it's bags.

I've always liked the office androgynous kind of bags but didn't give much thought to it cause I had my eyes on the YSL Easy bag for god knows how long. Now that I've got the bag, I'm looking for another prefect everyday bag. Not that I'm not satisfied with my current one! Who doesn't like variety?

Anyway, I've always noticed these 2 bags but it wasn't love at first sight. However it was more like the more I look at the bags, the more I like it.

Fendi's Peekaboo (canvas).

 This is the Peekaboo Roll.

And the YSL Muse Two (suede).

I think this is canvas.

Yes I know the colour scheme is the same for both cause these are the only colours I like. I like the first Peekaboo which is made of canvas but I don't mind the Muse Two as well. I'd like the bag to have a sling strap cause for what I know, not all Peekaboos have sling straps right? And Muse Two definitely doesn't have it. I'm not sure how much it is, probably around $2k+. But the YSL is slightly cheaper than the Fendi.

Which one should I get? I need to do market research!

In the Red Freak's Bag

They say the contents your bag shows who you are. I guess I'm a very simple person who loves red then!

Clockwise from left: YSL Easy Bag (my everyday bag), iPod 3rd Gen (Red) Nano (20th birthday present from my boyfriend), Canon Digital Camera (they state that it's red in the brochure but even a retard can see that it's pink), Agnès B. Cardholder (I still want the Comme des Garçons polka dotted one though), Agnès B. Wallet (last year's Valentine's Day present, now I know why I didn't receive anything this year), GAP pouch (it's moulding! kidding), Eyedrop, Mirror from Anthropology (it'll be with me till I get old), Crabtree&Evelyn Moisturiser, Nivea Lip Balm, Comb, Lanvin Jeanne Perfume (sample of some magazine and I love it!), Vaseline Lip Care (my lips crack easily), Etude House Nude Lipstick (the only lipstick I use other then the Guerlain Red Lipstick I stole from my mum).

I thought it would be fun to take a photo of some of my red stuff.

Yes I'm a RED FREAK!

All Things Lethal

Sunday, April 18, 2010

I didn't go to the flea yesterday cause I had a bout of rash. Argh. I'm so irritated now.

What I wore to meet my friend for a shopping spree, well for him not for me. Broke after buying all the presents plus the Acne Atacoma. He said that I could easily kill someone with my accessories that day hence the title.

I just got all my maxi skirts, maxi dresses and RINGS from Korea and I was super excited to wear all of them!

I'm currently wearing my shield ring (first from top) out almost everyday! Love the dragon ring I got as well, psst I'm born in the Dragon year!

I went down to Bugis Aldo to get the Alexander Wang inspired sunglasses! I was so happy that they still have it even though I didn't get it when I first saw it 3 weeks back. It's on sale as well!

Batwing shirt dress (worn as top), Lucyd Acyd. Maxi skirt, Korea. Rings, Korea & Diva. Necklace, Aldo. Sunglasses, Aldo. Shoes, Hong Kong.

Let me know what you think of the outfit
